About Me

My photo
I used to be aircraft mechanic and now I'm a homemaker. I love to garden, play with my kids, hang out with my husband, bake bread (some is good some isn't), travel, and eat.

Imaginary Friends

Bear has some imaginary friends.  Saw, his blue fuzzy crab.  Fa, is usually Saw's mom. Fetey, is a variety of characters.  I'm not sure why these names but they are what Bear has chosen.  Saw travels with Bear and plays in the snow etc with him.

Mia had her one year doctor appointment not long ago.  30 inches long, 25 pounds, and got a clean bill of health.  Seems to be right on track for all the development milestones.  She crawls, pulls up, walks along things so long as she is holding on, and says a few things.  Mostly her words are, "Thank you" and "Hi Dad."  She has some sounds she uses to indicate Buddy and Bear.  It is very seldom that she'll say Mom.  Lil' stinker.  She waves and claps too.

Life is crazy as ever.  I have a bit of cabin fever but that is mostly because I don't have the gumption to clean the house so I look for ways to leave the house and go do something.  Tom is crazy busy with school but is on his last semester!  Yippee!!!  Then I don't know what on earth we'll be doing.  Probably working on the house a bunch if we don't go anywhere.  If we stay here we'll be needing to finish the attic so we can add a bedroom. 4 people and a dog living in less than 1000 square feet makes for some cramped quarters.

Off to try to convince myself to do some picking up and dishes.
