About Me

My photo
I used to be aircraft mechanic and now I'm a homemaker. I love to garden, play with my kids, hang out with my husband, bake bread (some is good some isn't), travel, and eat.

Past due

Spring has started.  I know because Bear refuses to wear a coat outside for the most part.  A vest yes, but a coat is too hot.  We got a mystery delivery the other day.  I would say May baskets but it isn't May Day yet.  Two smaller grocery bags filled with fruit, fruit roll ups, and bubbles.  So every morning Bear has been taking his bubbles outside and blowing bubbles for awhile.  I can get him to wear his boots and sometimes a jacket but never a hat or gloves.  Yep, it is spring.

I have crocus and violets up along with some garlic and my chives.  If we move soon I'm going to miss my garden I've created here.  Of course I'll do a new garden but it won't be the same as my own garden at my first house.  I do wish we lived where I could have some chickens though.  Silly that bigger cities a person can have some hens but not here in my small town.  I wonder which wonderful *said with much sarcasm* person ruined it for others.

Miss Mia has another tooth finally.  Poor kid has taken forever to cut this one.  She is in the process of cutting another as well.  Once done she'll finally have 4 teeth.  I forget how long the getting teeth process takes.  I just know she'll walk any day now too.  She is soooo close.  She'll stand by herself, walks along holding onto things, and can bend over and pick up stuff without holding onto things.  Now we just wait to see when those first steps come.

Speaking of Mia... We discovered she loves the red tricycle.  Every time we are outside she want to be sitting on it.  Likes getting pushed around but doesn't mind if she is just sitting there too.  Funny girl.  She is a sweetheart.  A sweetheart with a temper, but I think that will mellow when the communication comes easier.
